STNG ALERTS ::
Building materials lay unused on the grounds of Stonebridge in Lake Bluff.   (Eric Davis/for Pioneer Press)
Concerned about the inactivity at the Stonebridge residential development on Green Bay Road, the Lake Bluff Village Board refused to take over sewer and water public improvements on the site of the former Harrison Conference Center and kept the developer's letter of credit at $4.4 million. If the board had approved, the village would have taken over ownership and maintenance of the water and sanitary sewer systems.
